Title: Fractal Starfield
Post by: Mahnmut on October 06, 2007, 01:48:22 PM
This is my way of getting at least two-coloured stars and as it is quite flexible I thought I may share it!
here you go!
Be aware that the number and of course brightness of stars you see depends strongly on your monitor settings! I just found out how much ;)

Best regards,
Jan

Nice work - the perspective is especially commendable.  Don't worry about your English by the way - it's been perfectly understandable so far.  If you have a question that you can't ask in English, just ask it in French and I'm sure that some of us will be able to understand and answer it :).

To import Celestia objects in TG2 : Download it, unzip it, open the .3ds file with PoseRay (http://mysite.verizon.net/sfg0000/), and save it as an .obj file (and .mlt file for material). That's all !

About Mahnmut's starsclip, thanks again to him. This file is very simple, easy to use/modify, and render great (better than an imagemap, for me, because more natural). I will use it a lot. ;)
