Title: Populate random Objects and masked it with a shader
Post by: Adions on September 22, 2018, 11:25:57 AM
Is it possible to populate random Objects and masked it with a shader? I tried the standard workflow but for me it seems very, very slow and somehow it makes no fun to create 10 population nodes with each one object to give for example grass, trees or vegetation in general some randomness.

How can I speed up this kind of workflow. How is your population workflow?

You can't populate random objects. You'll have to populate by object. It's not that much work, because you can copy paste the pop areas, so 10 pops is nothing really.

That being said, we will be working on Grouping and other features that make it easier to deal with more complex populations.
