Post by: Frank_Art on October 11, 2018, 04:46:44 PM
Hi everybody, do you have an idea why when I render a spherical sky (TERRAGEN 4)and the horizon line is curved? there is a way to make it straight?
Thanks

Hi, welcome to the forum!

This is because the camera is not completely level. The camera's X rotation needs to be set to 0.

Hi Matt, thanks alot :) there is any specific reason that by default the position is 0 / 10 / -30?

If you would set default camera to 0/0/0 you would be level with the ground (and part of terrain would be invisible) and not see the center of the simple shape masking the terrain. So by this setting you immediately see something that gives a clue about its workings.

We wanted the default view to be one where any objects added to the scene at 0,0,0 would be visible.
