I can't find in the wiki what the "Stroke" edge profile is supposed to be and just looking at it, it looks no different than "None".

Stroke is as the name applies in various programs like pixel manipulation or raster manipulation. You can define a "stroke" radius which is applied to the boundaries. in TG, this setting is similar to photoshops "Stroke" set to "Inner" (instead of outer or center).
In the image provided, the left preview is stroked by 50 meters.
