The lonely tower / wait for Riddick

Inspiration was the chronicles of Riddick

Everywhere I had the name Agura Nata who had referred to a story of mine, but I do not write this story anymore.
When I showed my blue TG ball in a group the comment "This is the ball of the seer" I thought it was great changed my name, however, was on DA only the first seer free and second seher I will not call me, so I came to this name. Oshyan then kindly changed the name.

In addition, I am working on a strong voice then the picture should make more beautiful.

Jandosch Cloudfloater

Objects create in Blender, render in Terragen 4.3
I finally took the time to make a turbine in Blender, along with the other components.
Here I have used my own materials in Terragen to Chrome by Hannes I have also mixed in the glass with writing.
Objects were cut out in Terragen with fractal vector graphics.

"Jandosch" was an ingenious visionary and inventor from the abstract land of the fractals "Orakum".
Surreal vehicles and objects were his favorites.

Title: Fracteratus the fog horns
Post by: Agura Nata on January 08, 2019, 09:04:03 AM
Thanks a lot my wonderful friends!
There are news again!

"Fracteratus the fog horns"

One of the biggest tourist attractions in the land of fractals called Yurkanti. If you would like to see one of the foghorns up close, a little tip, you will love rolls with fishmeal, but at least 25 pieces.
So have settled in the area many cozy stalls selling fish and it is hardly surprising that the logo with fish and foghorn got a well-deserved place in the famous travel guide of Dragonland, the "If dragon travel".
You should always wear earplugs in this area in the morning so as not to fall in fright when the fog horns start their trumpet concert at 120 decibels and slowly ascend from the haze into the sky.

Objects designed in Blender.
Material and render in Terragen 4.
The fractal landscape in Terragen 4.3 was created by mixing vector graphics
I have changed materials from WASasquatch and Hannes for my project.

In Blender I work a lot with bezier curve, which can be influenced very well with a path and circle. Great deformations can also be achieved with Cast modofier.
Here I have created a pipe with curve and subdivided sufficiently, then duplicated and then inserted some discs with array then bent. With "Cast" something deformed surreal.

Very impressive views again. I like Oracus especialy for it's look  and the POV. Remembers me somehow to "Arrival" from 2016. Perhaps you have the patience and ambition to try the same view with a big coniferous forest on the ground? a bit like in Cubutator just denser and green? perhaps? ... please? ;)

We have a lot of snow at the moment and snow shovels 4 times a day, but I hope I have time for the project. I'm already working on my blender trees and trunks.
But in the few days today, the imagination has caught up with me again and the forest does not have to wait ;)

Now at least I've done something with trees, let's see how it goes on.
This is part of a fractal pattern, so 2 patterns in different sizes. I just wanted to test how it looks like with trees before I continue to work and what makes it surreal, I'll probably change the sizes of the patterns,
So the patterns have to be adjusted, unfortunately I did not have the time

Thank you much Doc!

The ground reminded me a bit of a lunar surface and had nice contrast, that's why I took it. Before, I had trees and plants, but the contrast was not enough for me. In retrospect, I would install some building or Pipline for size comparison, there you are right my friend.
I will work on it soon.
At the moment I am testing what phattracing has for advantages and on which objects, plants I like it well.

My goal is a floating world with a lake over another wooded world with abstract buildings, but I need to swap the planets because water can only be used on the main planet?

Thank you my friend!

That with the flowers was a test for the path tracing rendering :)
Under the ball I had already provided the fractal terrain with grass and different shaders, but I just like the raw and untreated as well as contrast.

My main problem right now is:

The basic planet is below, currently neutral from the surfaces / Will be expanded if I know how it goes on :)
The second planet with the trees from which you see down should get a lake, but I have to test it first.
I do not know if you can make a lake on a planet? If not, I will make the main planet to the floating island.

Kora Oh Tuum

2 Worlds Rendered in Terragen 4.4

With the Fractal Power Shader,
I have greatly influenced a floating island with 1000 meters in diameter
and added to the normal Terragen world,
so that one can recognize the fractal growth nicely.
The lakes have been raised from the base world.

I rendered the same image with path tracing, but as already thought, the water was not good and the landscape was a bit "flat" from the view
However, I have come to the taste with objects in path tracing, which has also been improved in the meantime.

Fractal Guardian
Object Blender, Makehuman
Render Terragen 4.4

In Terragen 4.4 I influenced an octahedron with vector graphics fractal to create the base.
From Makehuman I exported a figure to Blender and copied it there.
Modified the copy with the Themes Modifier blocks and added some objects,
offset them three-dimensionally and exported them to Terragen 4.
In TG, the original figure was covered with a chrome texture.
The copy was cut out with a vector graphic and provided with rust texture.

Digiwork ... my own pictures ...

Is it the world song that beguiles the sunset?
or the song of the Upper ascetics in the light.
The light that fills itself insatiable and yet divided.
Embers in my eyes and longing in my soul.

At the moment I hardly work on the PC because I am busy with staring and remodeling my telescope. But I'm looking forward to the colder season to work on my surreal images :)

Partially eclipsed moon July 2019

Partially eclipsed moon.
Photographed by my new 8 inch Dobson Mirror Telescope.
We got it 180 kilometers from Munich and arrived at our home at about 11 pm in time to take pictures. So we were able to marvel at this event with our two dogs and also observe Jupiter.

Many thanks Doc!

The conversion work on my recently acquired 8 inch Dobson is progressing well. Since I prefer to set my target objects with an LED viewfinder, I have now rebuilt my LED viewfinder from the 4 inch ED refractor so that I can put it on the 9 x 50 lens finder from the Dobson and also turn it into a more comfortable position. The storage at the base of the Rocker Box was made smooth by a roller bearing ring, so that you can rotate by gently tapping it without shaking it.

I now have a small telescope to carry out quickly and this 8 inches, so the construction takes only about 3 minutes, I have to go only 3 meters outside the door and it is a dark night because we live in the country without street lighting where the Andromeda nebula with can already see the naked eye:)

This night was so warm that at 1:00 o'clock barefoot out could observe. Gorgeous my first test.
Andromeda galaxy and the globular cluster M 13 in Hercules with 1000 stars that were individually recognizable. In Sagittarius the deep south stand a wealth of star clusters. Saturn shone with his ring and Jupiter with his planets :)

Photos taken from our garden in combination of a work of mine.

It is unusually hot at the time, but I think the climate is really changing all over the world.
Warm air is not necessarily better now Observations in the telescope because processed surfaces then radiate heat, but with us only meadow and small number of houses, in a city because the problems are already greater.

The setting is already UV.

It may be that the font looks strange and distorted by the displacement, because on the right side the volume is smaller :)

To make something else for a while, I once again built something with Vue 2016, Riddick would certainly have his fun with the mechanical monster. Have fun with my little story about it ;)

"Mechanicus Tractorus Gigantus"
In honor of the great "Mechanicus Tractorus Gigantus", an air show is held once a year to honor him and his tirelessly thriving friends.
Many barrows from the farms of the area have come and the well-known conductor "Karrenschiberjan" personally leads the wonderfully squeaky symphony of the chorus wheels of the barrows.
A treat that keeps touching my heart when I report about it as a reporter.

Designed from Vue 2016 Esprit Extra Content and fractal-influenced parts.
Machine parts from free 3D models.

Harvesters / Thalmes Jokara

The world "Thalmes Jokara"

Where fractal energies pool under the ground creating strange cubic shapes that ionize the atmosphere above the ground and make it glow green.
Huge harvesters are digging for the cubic energy nodes to use them for intersetellar space exploration, opening their gates through the universe with their massive fractal energies.

After Myst and Riven, my last favorite game was Skyrim. This is roughly equivalent to the quality of Flowecape if you work properly with it. Although elder scrolls 6 looks very good in the preview despite the old engine. Yes, I try to incorporate details, which you can only see if you take the time ;)

So with Skyrim I was already working to get it done. Because I had only started this year. Unfortunately, the first tests to implement my ideas were modest and I wanted to give up. When David's request came, I sat down again in front of the PC and pulled the project through. But now it's time to take a break when the weather is nice.

Before I continued with the "Overhang strata Dune" I wanted to design my own landscape.

"Wake up dear sister in this undiscovered dreams"

Don't our thoughts become blurred and go searching in this still unexplored landscape?
Are we not an image of our thoughts, which often travel and threaten to get lost in dreams ...
Wake up dear sister we go the rocky road together ...
For the sake of our love ...

Of course I could only have put a woman in the landscape but I wanted to present the landscape as a beautiful but stony country, as it is not easy for the woman, yes a stony path with her sister who was disabled and has become an AI, so the symbolism.
So she largely became an AI, so her old personality has become very transparent.

One of my new landscapes that I created with Terragen 4.4.67 was mixed with Photshop and a free Pixa picture :)

Since I finally need reasonable stones for my project, not just those for populations, I built stones in Blender today.

In Terragen I mixed some nodes so that it gave an interesting texture.

Weird! (...in a good way!)
The only thing I'd like to criticize is the scale impression of this... thing. ;)  It's somehow planted onto these far mountains, but it looks like it's only one meter high. Maybe you could add some sense of scale by changing the texturing?

Thanks a lot dear Hannes!

I agree with you my friend!

After I built it, I was looking for a landscape, in the original it is about 12 meters high.
Mixing two Dune materials made the landscape more interesting from a distance, but you would have to make some changes nearby. I'll take that into account next time. I also don't like the base and some of it is without details on the part. It needs to be revised, there is no hurry, the Dwemer do not run away anymore;)

This morning I finally succeeded in blending two pictures in Blender 2.81, which are influenced by the fog pass in the depths.
Render: Cycles

In Blender 2.79 this was always possible with the Blender render, 2nd picture ...

Next goal, new projects in Terragen ... when the thunderstorms are less and I can switch on the PC more often in autumn

I like especially the first one. Lighting and colours are very nice.

Terragen 4.5.38 (Frontier Build)

For the erosion plugins from Daniil I have to update new versions. There is a new version of Classic Erosion on his website: https://daniilkamperov.com/
