I guess, it wouldn't be much helpful for TG work, but at least there's a free texture generator for PS, which creates seamless textures out of an image with just one click. This could also be done without any plugin, but with it, it's probably easier.
Theres a simple texture stitcher thats free too. Does tiled and round.
This is pretty interesting though. I wondered if any third party software would utilize the 3d engine.
