Title: Lines in render.
Post by: Upon Infinity on March 13, 2019, 05:18:55 PM
I think this has likely been covered several times, but I've been away for a bit and I can't find it through searching.

There are lines in my render, which is a common problem for my scenes.  It typically disappears after increasing quality settings and/or resolution.  Persistent in this case.  What is it?  What cause it?  How do get rid of it?

Image has been darkened to make lines more visible.

Those are likely due to the Acceleration Cache in a cloud layer, probably your lowest density one. Check on the Optimization tab of your cloud layers and set to "None (Highest Detail)" to see if it resolves the problem.

Worked. Thanks.  Slowed it down quite a bit, though.
