Oh! Nice ones. And by the way - I also like these prehistoric plants. Dicroidium, right? ;)

Nice !
Even if I'm not capable of doing so well, may I suggest one thing ?
I think your greens don't feel natural enough (except in prehistoric forest), too much saturated. Like in heavy processed HDR pictures if you see what I mean.
On the beach cottage, the high forest is really cool, but the bushes could work better, what do you think ?

Nice set of works, Bobby.

thanks Ulco....wouldn't have done any of them if we had Spring weather here...it's been like 10 degrees C. lower than normal...sigh...
Kind of reverse inspiration heh heh heh

well for starters as you're relatively new here you'll likely not know I'm a functional colour blind dude and greens and reds are my area of horror.
And as well these are done deals as I mentioned and no re-dos are gonna happen..thanks for your interest though.

Very nice... The Island scene "A Desolate Place" looks very cool!

May I ask you, why do you make so many scene instead of staying with one and make it looks as realistic as possible?
There is so much potential in your images Bobby. I've seen so many good starters from you!

I didn't know for sure, my apologies.
I said that because the scenes are really well done and I thought I could help at my humble level.
(I really like the prehistoric forest !)

Very nice images, Bobby!
I just had the idea of creating some sort of a color palette with natural green or brown tones with a description of the different colors for you and other color blind people where you just can pick up the color and use it in your scene. This might help avoiding these sometimes unnatural colors. Would that be of help?

No problem and thanks for the compliment on the prehistoric forest render...I liked it a lot as well.

Cool. I guess, picking colors from images sometimes leads to strange results. I tested the colors in my file on objects within TG, so it should work.

with my disability with colour I've been living off .tgc files I create out of .tgd's posted here and there that I manage to harvest clips from. so this will be way cool!

hi poly tree version 2a. mainly trying for less obvious/more realistic 'light rays'.

Light is great here, but I'd use less of the shrub and more vibrant green grasses and ferns. And make the path better (sandy?)....

Agree with Ulco. Great lighting indeed. I have the impression, that the bark texture is too large. If you'd use an image map shader for that, you could resize it. I'm pretty sure, this would look better.

You can resize after the default shader, just don't use world space.

Thanks Ulco, wasn't really paying attention to that as I was light testing...will get back to this later but off to a Funeral/Memorial for a dude I played guitar with off and on for years...the booze caught up to him....sigh...glad I quit 20+ years back

I think (not looking at it now) that the bark was baked in displacement but I could be wrong...I'll check when I update it.

As much as I don't need anymore trees, I am grabbing them now. The bushes look very useful. Not too many around like that. Cheers
