Hello all.
After what feels like an eternity I can finally show you some of what we've been working on at Lola Post on The Planets, a show airing soon on BBC 2 in the UK (28th May), then some time after on PBS in America and many other channels around the world I'm told.
There is a lot of Terragen in this show! It's hardly surprising in some ways, that being a useful tool for terrain generation. I worked on all bar a few of the Terragen shots. The link below is a short preview I wrote for my website. The YouTube video is the UK trailer currently showing on BBC channels.
There is Terragen content around 0:05, 0:09, 0:17, 0:19 (clouds by Tim Zaccheo, not me), 0:30, 0:38, 0:45, 0:57
This was recently shown on the huge TVs on Picadilly Circus in London. Every few minutes it expanded to fill the whole array of screens, significantly larger than your average TV. Couldn't quite believe it. :o

Fantastic! I want wait to watch this! I'll probably have to wait for a video release though as Sling TV I use doesn't have any local KCTS or PBS channels, really strange.\
This looks great, and love the use of TG.
Excellent work, really looking forward to this! Although I hope the actual soundtrack is a little less "modern action movie film score" ;) And huge congrats again on having your work shown as big as can be at Picadilly!

Excellent work, really looking forward to this.
Great. Thanks for showing this!
GREAT!!
Echo the previous compliments and WOW on the Picadilly Circus multi screen must have been mind blowing...
Cheers all! Yeah I've not seen the Picadilly screens in person, but seen videos of it. I'm not sure if it's still running up there.
Each episode has its own feel thanks in part to multiple directors. The episode I saw on Friday has a combination of movie trailer music, theatrical score and thanks to Prof. Brian Cox's musical connections, Muse. :o Maybe hum your own tunes Oshyan! ;D
Great stuff!
Wow, impressive! Great work, Alex!!
This looks awesome :o
I'll have to watch this!

I've watched the whole series, the Terragen work is great.
The massive lens flare on every space shot, not so much.
