Just published and presented yesterday, a book about Neanderthals in the north of the Netherlands. So another Terragen render featuring a great book!
Congratulations, Ulco!!!! This is really great! Must be a good feeling to hold your work printed in your hands.
Congratulation Ulco!
I'll see if I can find the book in the (large) local bookstore here in Rotterdam and have a look at it myself!
Congratulations! Those are fine images!
Congratulations Ulco! It looks to be a fabulous book. A quick search shows that it is available for purchase: https://www.drentslandschap.nl/winkel/de-neanderthaler-in-noord-nederland. Is there a way to buy an autographed copy?
Congrats! Proud to know ya! :-)
Thanks guys and girl ;) It's really a nice book, and got max stars in a review in a Dutch paper today, but it's all in Dutch, Doug, so it will be a frustrating endeauvour plowing through the contents. And it has only 4 of my illustrations in it, the 2 shown and 2 oldies that I really don't like anymore.
Sweet!
Must feel so rewarding to see your work printed. The books looks nice too!
Hello, very nice, Mister Ulco. 8) ;)
Brilliant Ulco and Congratulations, any chance these will be available in N America, specifically Canada?
Don't think so, it's very local stuff.

Cool, but unfortunate.
Congratulations! Also a nicely designed edition by the looks of it. I will take a look at it in the bookstore.
Congratulations, terrific work as ever!
Great work. Congratulations!
One day when I am back in the Netherlands I`ll have to visit the museums where your Dioramas are set up.
It`s about time to see your work for real.
CHeers, Klaus
Congratulations Ulco to those brilliant renders and their usage.
Must be a really good feeling :)
Yes, the only thing that annoys me is if they print it too dark, and that happens quite often.
Thats great my friend, Congratulations!
Another TG render that made it into a book (about Vikings, also available in English), and one of the major Dutch newspapers used it for an article: NRC newspaper article (https://www.nrc.nl/nieuws/2019/10/22/ook-friezen-gingen-soms-op-viking-a3977615)
Great work! The full two-page illustration works well! And your fire-pit came out well on print.
If anyone is interested they can obtain a copy through de Drentse Landschap. I have it on my wishlist for Christmas to support the publisher and Ulco. I hope it gets picked.

PS your work with flats/marshes with all the mud work and canals is really great in the viking one.
Somehow missed this earlier, Ulco. Congratulations and I agree that it must be rewarding to see your work in print. Nothing else compares.
Thanks guys. Here's another link to what the museum uses the illustration for (in Dutch I'm afraid): Viking educational pdf (http://pers.friesmuseum.nl/download/kijkwijzerterpenlandschap.pdf)
And another one: educational with crops highlighted (https://prezi.com/view/i9zIDpjUOxXD5iFr6pER/)
And another one for the English book: We Vikings (https://www.managementboek.nl/boek/9789462622739/we-vikings-)There's a Dutch one as well of course.
Btw, I won't benefit of book sales, for your information.

Ulco, I'm very proud of you! that's one of the most detailed and interesting renders! The presentation with the highlighted crops is a little miracle! I am still speechless!
Thank you, Nils :) But don't be speechless for too long ;)

Yes, well worth checking out. Shows you the crazy high resolution Dune is working with. But what's with those linens haging to dry? Did someone color them purple? :)
Yes, that's being colored (in those days) by using the yellow flowers on the left side of the image: isatis tinctoria (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isatis_tinctoria)
The links are well worth checking out. Your work is such an inspiration!

Yup, still getting used to the new layout. Thanks.
