We are in the process of building a database that will hopefully aid and guide new and regular users alike in how function nodes can assist in your scene creations. The aim is to take away some of the mystery and show that these functions are actually simple building blocks, that can be put together in simple or advanced combinations alongside other kinds of nodes, to produce tailored effects in your scenes.
This section is intended for general questions, examples and problem solving that everyone can get involved with. Specific queries and examples of individual nodes should be directed to their individual topic in the Function Nodes by Category section (https://planetside.co.uk/forums/index.php/board,29.0.html).
