Title: Sun in front of terrain?
Post by: thechromatik on October 17, 2019, 10:51:07 PM
When I set up a scene with the sunlight positioned opposite the camera (and what I would expect to be behind a mountain) it looks like it's in front of the mountain. How would I get it so it's being eclipsed by the terrain?sunspot.jpg

Hi and welcome!
This is a very common problem, but it's easy to solve. In the atmosphere/quality tab check "receive shadows from surfaces". Maybe you'll have to do the same for your cloud layer, but maybe it works without the latter.
