Once again, fooling with atmo effects along with some terrain testing. I'm not too ga-ga over the shadowed foreground, but it's due to the haze / fog layering in some way I think. But the distance is all right.18.jpg

On that first image, I realized I had somehow disabled the Light surfaces option for the main sunlight. So any perceived lighting would emanate from enviro and a reflective shader. So maybe sort of good for that lighting angle only. So still fooling with atmo and terrain.
Those dark clouds are an attempt to recreate the ones I could routinely get with TG Classic. Not really easy to do, but I'm kind of there.

Superb stuff! I too miss the ability to create and save those classic atmospheres. I suppose one should start a reference file for one's self, ha ha.
