Title: Subsurface refraction limit?
Post by: WAS on January 10, 2020, 05:28:08 PM
How far does refracted light travel compared to the decay distance of normal light? Seems in most tests I do, seems glow, which I am not starting to think this is refracted light considering it's the most intense version of the decay colour.

Is this true?

And is the refracted light governed by the decay distance, but travel further? Or? I think this is why we think there are light leaks or seam/crease issues.

This model I made sure the seams were solid, normals correct, and subdivided to ridiculous extremes just to see (it's over 1gb!), yet the "anomalies" remain.
