Title: WTH does "RAW" image submission actually mean here?
Post by: masonspappy on July 02, 2020, 07:59:14 PM
Folks, need someone to enlighten me.
Please.
Two files need to be submitted for this contest. One of them must be the "RAW" file. Does that mean this file must be in one of Terragen's default output formats like TIFF or EXR?  Or can that "Raw" file be converted to another format (eg JPG or PNG) and then submitted as the RAW file?
Thanks.

I sent in as jpg from output, only putting my name in. Was accepted by Danny, so...
And he said it's okay to put your name in too.

Tif from output (or exr in my case) would be a bit heavy too, no way to keep that under 8MB.

Just the question I was pondering on a few days back. Raw means "pre post-work". As it came out in the render window + your signature.

I finished mine at 4.4mb. :P But yeah, the resolution was smaller than yours. ;)
