It's been a rough couple of months, and staying safe is at the forefront of everyone's mind, but with everything going New World Digital Art hopes to have added a little inspiration and relief to the chaos. In May the "Travelers" Competition got underway, and entries closed on July 6th. Now that the voting process has completed, our sponsors, judges and us here at NWDA are excited to announce the winners!

I will tell you the Judges were back and forth a couple of times with these 3 images. Perhaps Alex or Greg can chime in if they stop by. Awesome images, well deserved wins, Again Congratulations !
Wow! A clean sweep for Terragen! Not a surprise though. It's a pleasure to be in the company of Hannes and Ulco for the prizes, and congratulations to all of the contestants who put forth some amazing images. Thanks again to Danny and the folks of the NWDA to set this up, these events have to be a whole lot of work!
Congratulations guys, you really deserved it. :)
Congratulations, Hannes, Doug, and Ulco! Great work on the entries! Good turn out of contestants, and some really cool work for this contest.

CHeers, Klaus
Congratulations! Outstanding images all!
Well well well, this is interesting... Congrats to the winners, I like Travelin Fast most.
Congratulations Hannes, Doug and Ulco! The egyptian landscape is my favorite. I'm a little bit surprised that is not in the first 4 haha, anyway, i'm not the judges.
Great work from all contestants :)

Great work from all contestants :)
Agree, that's a great piece.
I had a bit of bad luck with some of the prizes. Some won't install on my offline machine, and some are just not so important. So I will give them away, and have written to the software guys if that's possible. Danny (as the organizer) will get Gaea, Vincent Ferrand (as nr.4) will get Houdini and PlantCatalog.
Then there's XFrog volume 1 or 2, which I already have won years ago.
First one from the participants(!) reading this and responding (here and perhaps pm) will have it. That is, if the software guys agree!!!
(Raises Hand)
Great! Can you PM me with an email address, so I can forward that to the XFrog guys?
I'd love a volume of xfrog, I still don't have many objects to use in scenes which gets them put on the back burner.
Sorry, Masonspappy beat you to it.
Did you ever hear from the XFrog guys, Cam? I've contacted them several times, and Danny also did through FB, but I never got any reply. If you haven't, it's not very decent for a sponsor, and I apologize for making you happy too prematurely.

No, but that's ok. Since you and Danny have reached out a few times it's probably best just to let it go. I do appreciate you trying to make them available though. Thank you and Danny as well.
You're welcome, Cam. It's just that I am not very pleased about this behavior. You either sponsor or don't.

Would it be ok, legal-wise, for you to simply claim the prize and gift it to Cam right away? In my understanding, you have the liberty to do whatever you please with your reward even if it means throwing it in the dust bin.
Granted, that's strange. When I had problems with the purchase they have gone to great lengths to make it up for me. Going even as far as to include .3ds formats which I don't even need.
I don't think so, as it is not allowed to give any paid software to others. Unless maybe you discard it yourself. But I wanted to play it nicely and in correspondence with these guys. But I haven't even heard from them myself.
I actually wonder if any of the winners have been contacted....

I guess you are right. Better not to press one's luck on this.
No contact from Xfrog upon winner announcement? :o I hate to theorize, but could they have just ignored the topic altogether, coming to the conclusion that each of you had already won an Xfrog package?
This is super convenient for a company - it is displayed as a sponsor but pays nothing determining that winners have already got their products in one of the past iterations. And we all know that there really is no "unit" for digital products.
Nope. I think it strange; getting the ad value as sponsor and not deliver.
Large apologies, we are like flies trapped in prehistoric ooze.... slow but still here.
Prizes have all been sent.
Let me know if you have any questions

Good to hear from you guys. Sorry about you entrapment, hoping you're all well at XFrog. Prize well received, and we'll get working on the transfer. Thanks very much!
Echo Ulco. Thanks, guys!
