Title: Brilliant colour artifacts on XFrog tgo on rendering ???
Post by: pclavett on August 17, 2020, 10:37:21 AM
Hi Terragen
Have been absent for a while and restarting interest in Terragen.
Was working on a project this weekend and was going well till this happened....see photo below !
They seem to occur randomly, not always in the same spot on different renders.
Is it a render problem or a corrupt file ???
Sorry for bothering you if this has been answered before......did not find anything in the search !
Thanks !

Have tried to do some localized cropped renders of the areas involved and they come out well ! Made certain that I render with "detail in camera" checked and was able to replace those area using photoshop and arrived to the final image below.
The fact that those new cropped renders came out fine suggests that there is no corruption in the files themselves but that the render somehow produced the artifacts........ but what do I know ???
Is there something that I can do or change in the settings for this to be avoided ???
Paul

Strange! This never happened for me, so I'm afraid I can't help, but it's a great image!
