I'm not sure what Windows Update did this time, but I can't render. It had trouble installing (C drive was apparently full and didn't catch it so it failed to install updates until I cleared space).
TG just says "Preparing to render" and nothing happens. No errors in the event viewer. I tried reinstalling, but that didn't change anything.
Oh yeah. So I rolled back my OS, and have prepared to make sure there is room for Windows Update this time, also I can render again.
Good it's solved. I had such a hang yesterday (first time ever, by coincidence), but that was due to a broken link between object and populator.
Im assuming windows update did something to one of the environments TG uses or something. I hadn't tried any other software besides resorting to playing a puzzle game I am addicted to.
