Everyone, do you know how to use Terragen software to make Star Wars D'Qar planet?
This is the planet D'Qar

You challenged me. I tried to make something similar. I decided to create a smaller planet, which looked more realistic to me. Take a look.

Hannes beat me to it with a
much better looking version, but here's a quick sketch using a big cloud and the built-in rock object.

Coool! I had some problems to displace the internal rock object.
If you'd make the cloud real hard and clustered, you could use that as rock debris perhaps.

That's indeed worth a try.
Not a bad idea. I am giving it a try now. I can already tell solid clouds will be slow on the renderer. Waiting on over a minute now just for the prepass.
But quality can be very low.
Yeah. Also cranking down lighting settings helped a lot. Just trying to get in basic coloured spheres varying sizes and then will detail and see how it comes out. So far actually very promising.
Well here is an example someone can play around with. Little too intense for my CPUs taste. Lol
Is it that heavy? I'll have a look soon. Thanks for sharing anyway!
Interesting solution Jordan! This crop (original size) took almost an hour to render on my machine. From a distance it looks quite nice.
Well, that's very slow. Clouds, huh.
