Title: Mesolithic settlement
Post by: Dune on December 25, 2021, 10:43:14 AM
Another archaeological render; Stone Age settlement. Well, small part of it. Still WIP.

I love the way PT treats the shadows.

This looks really, really impressive. You always manage to capture the scene. Great work!

Looks amazing!! And yes, when you have lots of vegetation, PT is a must, I'd say.

Great work again!  It really gives a sense of the isolation of such settlements and an understading of the reverence and fear of the elements of early peoples.

Thanks guys. You're absolutely right, Mick, that's exactly what I felt when I saw this develop. Interesting thing is that they want the exact same view in Roman times as well, and it's completely different (very open with a huge area of bog, just 2 farms and some fields). And today, you wouldn't recognize it :(
