Wow, I think you really nailed the desert/prairie vibe here. Superb colors, very real!

The only thing I might be picky about is how high the atmo haze is... at the same time, it gives a good feeling of depth and space between the windmill and the far mountains. Maybe it's just right?

Anyway, awesome!

I agree with DH.  The foreground looks out of touch with the background...picky, but how it looks.  In real life it is sometimes like this, but this is...TG2.   ;D

The hill in the background is perfect.  Really nice picture.

Love the haze and colours in the second version.

Now, this latest version is great! The second windmill helps with the depth. At the same time, the new viewing angle helps too.
But above all, the lighting is very pleasant and this has become a great image!

cheers,
Frank

Very nice.  Ground looks realistic.

Very fine work Joel. Both of these scenes have the feel of 'wide open spaces'.

It's very nice, but why did you put the wind wheel outside the view?

yes why did you move the windwheel outside the fov??....it would make more sense if you moved the foreground windwheel out of fov and left the background windwheel where it was....

I like the last one most. Good idea to move the wheel outside!

I also like the idea of putting the wheel outside the field of view; however I would have kept the second wheel but moved it further away.  Keeping the second wheel would give a glue to those who have not seen the first two versions as to what is casting the foreground shadow.
