Title: Haiti UFO footage created with Vue?
Post by: reck on March 04, 2008, 06:30:52 PM
I read today that the (in)famous Haiti UFO video was created using Vue 6. I didn't know that Vue's trees looked so real, apparently the palm trees shown in the video are just one of the standard models you get with the software. Either way its a cool video.

Yea and they seem to move like they do in vue. I would say either its just good compositing or it done very well in Vue.

I thought they looked pretty good although he should have rotated the trees a little more. As the UFO is flying off you can see at least 3 trees that look identical.

since I'm using Vue I could easily see that those palms are the cocus palmtrees from Vue!

and this is not quite what a UFo looks like anyway.
