Title: Security warnings when accessing the forums?
Post by: Oshyan on May 10, 2008, 08:40:05 PM
Is anyone seeing security or virus warnings when accessing the forums? We have had one report of it, but I am unable to duplicate it nor find anything unusual in the code or forum files. If anyone else has experienced this please let us know here, or email to support AT planetside.co.uk. At this time the security concern is low, but it is still good to be cautious.

Ok, thanks guys. I think it is probably just a "false positive" from the antivirus software someone is running. It happens sometimes, especially after new updates are released that haven't been fully tested with a wide variety of sites. There are some simple scripts here that enable things like the drop-down menus that might somehow be mistaken for something malicious.
