What about a Jibdig (http://jibdig.com/) channel? There is a Terragen one here (http://terragen.jibdig.com/).
Over at Renderosity they have revamped their chat room an use chat room software called Flash Chat and I have been told that there is an integration Script for SMF.

I can slowly see this become like the gallery thread, there are so many outlets that we could and apprently have used to create chat rooms that none of them are really used to their full potenical. So I say we all chip in and buy a small Cafe that we can all hang out in and, while inside, chat about terragen,T2TP, and Terragen 2.
