Title: Animation image washout problem
Post by: gpstevens61 on October 27, 2008, 07:51:03 PM
Hi

I'm using the Deep build 1.9.99.1 and trying to move the camera through a terrain running a sequence to create bmps which I will later turn into an avi.  When I render an image on a standalone basis I get the image I want, but when I set up a sequence the images that are created are washed out with most of the image white as if it's hugely overexposed with just a small amount of the sky detail visible.  I've tried it on the quick render and the full render and I get the same problem.

Could you post an example image of what you're getting?

It sounds like you may be looking a the alpha images rather than the actual render images. Alpha images can be optionally output as "extra" images, along with the main render. Make sure you are viewing the renders themselves.

That's fixed it.  Thanks very much
