This looks nuts.    ;D
They should include a warning in the rating that strongly suggests having your "- psychiatric meds increased, before seeing this film. "

I saw transformers 2 too, yesterday...indeed cgi-overkill like I expected, but still in awe how it's made from time to time...
I also expect the same with this movie. I actually think it will be pretty bad, story- character-wise, but with great cgi like this I don't really care.
Buy a big coke and popcorn (if you like, I don't....yugh) and keep your brains at home ;D

The only hope is that it's not another "Day After Tomorrow", though I liked the CGI in it.

Don't bet on it. I've seen several different companies posting help-wanted ads on job sites here in Los Angeles to work on it - and those are just the ones who openly say what the show is. Been plenty of other ads posted where its been kind of implied - though there are other candidates scrambling towards the finish right now as well.

I worked in marketing & trailers for years - and lots of times movies like that wouldn't get finished until literally the last week because of missing VFX. Lots of times we'd end up not being able to use xyz shot in a trailer or advert because it wasn't finished - or we would use a shot or an alternate take that didn't make the final cut.
