I have seen ice do that, long ago. Global warming seems to have wrecked that part of winter. We seldom get ice to form now.

True.  My ice fishing buddies are pretty much giving up after the last couple of winters here in Connecticut.

That would be so cool to be able to make a tg2 fire rainbow like in the first link. It would probably be heavy on the blue boxes (therefore very, very scary ;D) but I imagine it would be worth it in the end.
