Yeah, I thought so, too. Came out nicely.
Here is another one. About 1h render time, still some small artifacts.
But the soft shadows are working well. I especially like the structures in the left of the picture.

Hello everyone, some more tests and trials.
In the large picture there were some render errors I covered up a little bit in Photoshop.
Huge sigh, when these things happen after a loong render session. I must have missed them in the smaller test renderings.

You`re right. In my minds movie a deep dark grumbling sound is heard and the light and shadow cast on the rock formations are caused by a very frightening incoming entity from another world...tune in for the season finale!
