New Computer after TG2 purchase

I am considering a purchase of TG2. But what if I get a new computer after I purchase? Can I move TG2 from my old computer to my new one?

Yes you can. You'll just have to move your terragen key-file from the installation folder to your new computer's installation folder.
One TG-2 deep license is good for 3 additional render-nodes, if I'm correct. So consider your new PC as a new render-node

So I install the free version of Terragen 2 on the new computer, then move the old keyfile to the Terragen installation folder on the new computer?

Old keyfile? If you mean the TG0.9x keyfile, that won't work on TG2.

If you have a TG2-Deep/Animation license installed on your 'old' computer then install the TG2-deep version from the link you've received from planetside when purchasing and install it on your new computer. Copy the key-file from your old computer to your new one and you're set.
