Terragen 3 and Terragen 4 tutorials

Hello folks!

I've just found out about Terragen and I can't wait to put my hands on it for a few tests! Meanwhile, i was just looking at some tutorials online and I noticed that almost no beginner tutorial can be found yet on Terragen 4, so I was wondering: how similar Terragen 3 and 4 are? Can Terragen 3 tutorials be used to learn Terragen 4 as well? Are the interfaces the same?

Welcome! Good to have you on board. You can very well start with the v3 tutorials, as the basics are the same. TG4 is just (much) more comprehensive. If you have any specific questions, don't hesitate to ask. And don't forget to use the search function for specific questions, lots to be found in older threads.

The basic interfaces are quite similar between TG3 and TG4. I know that GeekAtPlay is also working on some updated for the new TG4 features.

Thank you both guys. I guess I'll just get started with some Terragen3 basic tutorials, and i something doesn't look as it should I'll improvise
