I know, to be honest I couldn't get them to work as desired, also the cockpit. I will try to figure out how this works on a new project.

Looks like you've lost the mapping on your transparent parts. That aside, this would work extremely well in an animation.

Could somebody post an example for that model how it would work with transparency for the propellers? (tgd?)

I had the same question with this one before. SwissAda helped me out with his method, shown in the image.
Note the object part named 'propspin' and the shaders attached to it.
