Wierd goings on in TG2

Hi All,

I am experiencing some strange behaviour in TG2.

- in most of my (saved) projects, when I load TG2 and re-load a given project, the render view has changed (even though I am always careful to set it prior to saving)
- When I go to large renders (say 3840 x 2000), my image maps are not rendered to surfaces (e.g. Fake Rock Shaders) - they work fine in 1920 x 1096. I have 8 GB RAM, and memory usage when rendering is only around 35%. I also get strange vertical and horizontal lines (see the attached - this was a large render and with Ray Trace Everything set)
- Occasionally, when my heightfields are re-generated upon reloading the project (and I always use the standard seed), my terrain often recreates with no resemblance to what it was originally.
- Again, when reloading a project (that worked fine previously), I suddenly get lots of warning messages relating to the camera / objects.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks All!

Hi,

Are you using Windows or a Mac?

Hi Jo,

Thanks for the link Kevin - I misunderstood the Ray Trace Everything setting - the article makes it a lot clearer - I will try to use the default settings. However the other issues - render view not saving correctly, and heightfield generation not re-generating correctly are still issues!

Jonathan.
