hey dudes ;)

im still planing on selling my plant models my oak tree test turned out ok I sold about 5 sets so i think there is some money to be made.
for now though i am creating at least 3-4 sets of high quality flora a week. i plan on officially launching my business this December -January (hopefully) this is because i want to build up a good stock of plants before i start selling so my aim is to make over 30 models in time for my planned launch date.

but what i really need is a website /estore to sell my models! the annoying thing is i have no knowledge
what so ever on how to do this :(
PG offered me a free website and estore but he said there was limited diskspace i dont know if he has changed it though. but still i would have no idea how to manage this or anything.

so what i am really trying to get at is that i want a am looking for a team of people to help me along the way and turn my fledgling business into something special

im looking for someone who has a good knowledge in web design and knows how to set up and manage estores also forums.
also a person with good advertising skills.

i also would like a person with a good knowledge in graphic design to design and type my pdf files for my projects and also a person with a good knowledge of flash design who can design attractive adverts for floraworks.

i would also like someone to render my plants and trees preferably some one who has a good knowledge of lighting and studio set up with 3dsmax or alternative and mental or vray.

i wouldn't mind a few other people who can model decent looking plants as well mainly flowers and shrubs where i am weaker on this way we can get a lot more models out onto the market. but also someone who can model trees as well ;)

and finally i would like someone with good marketing and accounting skills and whom can manage the income and distribute it around the team and back into the company.

my main purpose i have to admit is to make money and there is a lot of money to be made in this industry

but i also have a real passion for nature and my environment after all i do live in one of the most beautiful countries in the world and have a real passion for my art i want to take my talent and show it to the world that you dont have to be someone from a rich background to actually do something with your life
because i am no way near rich!
and i hope my shear guts and determination will help me succeed with my passion for modeling flora

so i dont want any lazy dishonest half hearters i want determinded people to help and guide us to succeed

i now offer my hand out and give you the chance to come along on the journey to make floraworks a reality!!!

its up to you if Floraworks succeeds or fails
after all you never get any where if you dont take risks ;)

if you are interested in joining me please reply

Lightning, have you looked at Office Live Small Business by Microsoft,,,I don't use it to sell anything, I just use it a free multipage website with lots of free storage for my genealogy research/family history, but for 14.95 a month you get your own SSL encrypted online store and ebay. The online tools to build the site are real easy, it may be worth taking a look, though since I don't use the selling portion of the product, there may be things I don't know about in there,,,it is Microsoft, after all , http://www.officelive.com/.

Good luck on this endeavorer. I hope you succeed, and if I ever have any money, I'll buy something.  ;D

I don't have any good ideas.  Burned brained cells... ::)

But, let us know what you do, so we can visit.  I want it bookmarked.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

Hi there, we I think may have some solutions for you my friend.  We have a website we just heated up called http://atomixworldmarket.com

We are building 3D Virtual Worlds that will go live right around the time you want to with an interesting twist we think.
http://interactiveworldsonline.com  coming later this year but you can get a quick look in an old video game engine we were building it in at:
http://theatomizer.com and go look at the video game section, then get back to me at my regular email at maylock@theatomizer.com and we can talk.  I am very interested in buying some models from you and also offer a place to sell them as well.  Really looking for Alien Plants and trees to buy if they are well done.

Would it not be cool to not only make models and sell them, but how about letting people check them out in a 3D world first before they buy?  This can now be done with a lower polly models, but we are working on much better, anyway get back to me those that are really interested in taking sales to the next level.  3D.

Lightening, do you do Sketchup as well, I saw a collection/post or something on the Sketchup forum which had an avatar which looks like it is just a portion of yours, I can't refind it again and don't remember the name that went with it but the first thing I thought was "hey that is lightening from the Planetside forums" though I am probably wrong....if it is not you maybe you should look at making some of your models  for use in sketchup/skp's,and post them at the sketchup forums,,there aren't many 3d quality trees out there that can be found in one place, and it may generate some business for you.

he has a point. a good way to generate interest in your product would be to post it on as many forums as possible, and in as many formats.
