Hi All,

I purchased a copy of Mudbox 2011 and Maya 2011 to advance my software knowledge and skills. This will be necessary to have a good foundation for entering the gaming industry. There are some well known Gaming Companies here in my new home of Dallas. Sweet.

I'm working in Mudbox and learning my way around the program. It is similar to ZBrush with some cool tools. Anyway, I'm working on a TRex as my first project and I will offer the completed file for your use. It would be nice to see a steamy, tropical render from you talented Terragen users.

This is taking me away from the Magnolia project, but I need to get the old portfolio current by adding images using the current tool sets utilized by Game developers.

Let me know if you are interested in the TRex and I will make it available.

Thanks.

Yeah I've got the trial of it, never really understood the principles behind modelling to get a good grip of it so my 3ds max trial went mostly unused.
Figured out how to do clicky signatures

Mudbox is the one which works kind of like clay is sculpted?

Pretty good start. Umm, new models for this type of carnivore now have the tail balancing the the head. Sort of a bridge type structuring. Then, there is the feathers theories. These may have had feathered bodies and bald heads; like buzzards today.
And finally the theory that they all died from cancer from using cell phones...

Edit: Cancel the tail head part. It's almost just right. :-[

I'm checking the displacement map quality in Terragen. So far so good.

Note: I'm thinking of having the Rex fighting a Velociraptor or two in the final render.

Looks good so far.

Mudbox is unstable and I got mad. Typical AutoDesk Crap.

Redoing the Rex in ZBrush.

Sorry. I hope it was not too frustrating.

Creating a better sense of realisms. As you can tell I corrected the eye. ::)

The finished scene will be Rex and a Raptor fighting over a dead Triceratops.

This will take some time to complete due to the time I wasted in Mudbox. Rats!

May need to create some prehistoric trees and such for the Terragen Render.

Also, here are the base meshes for the Tri and Rap.
