Wanted to share a new creation I've been working on. Can't really share the tgd because it's combination of about 8 crop Renders mainly to get the leaning tops not going in the same direction. And other cropped areas I made adjustments to  through out the process. Some may think it's cheating but it's the way I achieve the vision I had when I started the image. All the pieces were put together in Photoshop. Hope you like it? I'll be a happy camper when I can get everything the way I want it one render. Here's a link to the Image if you are interested in taking a look.  Hope you like it?

I clicked the first link and got a rather funny picture. LOL  I know people think I'm a Prick but I don't dress like one.  :P

I checked the other one and can't find any of my stuff.  Snow Angel made the site though.  :'(

Thanks again John!

I didn't check the first link Jay.....the whole site had been the subject of hundreds of rips....got the link with your name from a file generated by PatGoltz....so maybe they took the whole site down by now.

yeah didn't notice any of your stuff on the other one...but lots from other Tg artists (so I thought I should post it as well)....yeah, snowangel included...lol!

Great work Jay.... you've done some great canyon renders

@gradient.... that site at least seems to reference who made the render??? though its in Russian and and is gibberish to me... nice spotting nonetheless

Great render, Jay!  You've got an awesome sense of scale, depth, and realism going for you!  Fantastic job :).

Yes, its in Russian...gibberish to me too!

BTW, I think someone did a translate and found the first site was selling wallpapers.

I totally agree. Just one small problem - the sky appears to have horrible banding to me...

Thanks Man, I just checked the gamma settings on my monitor and they seem to be OK. I will run Spyder2 to check the color settings.

Just for clarification maybe check yours, you can do it here: http://bryce-alive.net/calibrate/

Wow.  Wow.  <drool>  Shut my mouth.  That looks like some work.  So now that I'm picking myself off the floor, I wish the trees looked more realistic, but I'm not sure it's what you've done but the trees themselves.  This is being very, very picky.

I actually love this.  Breathtaking, really.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

mrwho

could you share your file for the 4th image? it is really good, esp. the atmosphere

PLEASE????

Wonderfull image. I would reduce the amount of trees in the middle, to get rid of the impression of a complete green surface.

The world is round... so you have to use spherical projection.
