An image I did using Incendia 1.4.

The web site is here.

Ramiro has added a ton of new fractal types, features, and improved the UI.

the software looks interesting....it would be awesome if you could export the fractal into an obj or something...

Great image :)

Looks like you can ...

Might be a tad low res ...

It would not be too hard to fill out the low-res object mesh, maybe. In Blender you can modify meshes quite well using vertex groups and the mesh modifiers.

I found a good tutorial in the Incendia Wiki on creating mesh data for export.

http://incendia.net/wiki/index.php/Mesh_Generation_Basics

The example looks fairly good when rendered with Bryce. T2 should allow these to look quite awesome!

Here's is a Julia landscape I did Monday night/morning.

And another from last night.

I am impressed with the latest version. I did export a 3D mesh, but I only gave the program about 20 minutes to calculate the 3D fractal mesh using the box method described in the Wiki. I'm working on a landscape now to showcase one of these 3D fractals using Terragen 2.2 renderer.

been meaning to play with incendia, i'll  probadly DL' it this evening if my render is done ;)

you could also use topmod to subdivide if the meshes if were lowpolyish.

I've been playing with Incendia (1.5 R2) lately and it's really great...
I mean, I've been interested in fractals for a decade, but this software is one of the most accessible AND most powerful fractak generator I've ever seen.
(Or I'm smarter now than some years ago :p)

But for those who want to try it, really, have a look at the wiki and its tutorials. Only 10 minutes are required for the basic tutorials (*really* 10 minutes) and they explain a lots of things I wouldn't have guessed alone.

Cool.  Thanks for letting us in on what you're doing.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

It was the second image I did (just before I posted my previous post, actually) :)

One of the things I love in this software is the volumetric fog.

You can export the object/s Incendia creates also. You'll need a program called Meshlab also.
