Thanks for the link, nice to see the TP is getting around and seeing some more unique uses. In regards to the "shade by height" and orthographic approach to getting a heightfield out of TG, this is only necessary if the terrain itself is not already a heightfield. If it is you can just right-click on the node and Save As, then use Terraconv (free download) to convert to 16 bit tiff and import to Lightwave as a displacement map.
