I have some ideas to make a procedural railway (after having bent a road), but I need some math to divide an elongated simple shape into 'sleepers' (to be used as mask for wooden sleepers, of course) and spaces between that are about double/triple the width of the sleeper. I don't think it will be possible to bend the sleepers width a warped elongated simple shape to keep them perpendicular, but if we have the suggestion it would be nice, railways don't bend that strong anyway. Anyone for this challenge?
