Looks rather fun, first reason I've seen for getting an i-pad :)

i agree, never had any interest in ipads, at least until now

best part is it can export.

hmm... reading the support page, seems ppl are having trouble exporting the fbx files.

personally i think this would be more popular if the author ported it to actual computers.

Heh. I thought about getting one of those pads to have something to do on long train trips(5h) but I ended up on good old traditional books. I find, its one of those places where you can actually read in peace so I ended up not getting one of those pads, :P But thought of generating trees on such thing is rather interesting, does not sound practical but interesting for sure. :P

Houdini has a good l-system

as for Treepad....

Has anyone figured out how to get the exported fbx files from treepad into blender or found some other way to convert the format?

just found the answer. There is a free stand alone conversion tool from autodesk: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/item?siteID=123112&id=10775855
