I call this blessed kingdom because I plan to add a castle on top of the mountain (if I can find one)

the technique of the terrain is from child@play

buzzz's texture

Thank You both

I know there is a lot of work I still have to put into this, but I wanted to share this with you guys so here it is...

very nice already, i like the waterfalls very much. this will be a very good image
perfection is not when there's nothing more to add, it's reached when nothing more can be left out

By the fact that you are posting it here, you certainly want critics and comments. Well, as child already said this looks nice. I would add some more details to the rock surface (texture maps?), some trees close to the castle, thicker clouds, maybe some clouds close to the camera to give some more depth and yes, some birds could give a good hint about distance and size. :-)

Awesome find! :) These models will look great with some ivy generated on the walls ;D

this site was mentioned in "Resource for 3D models" thread and I downloaded all the castles from that site...most of them have problems with TG2....some of them have more than 16 textures, some of them have multilayer textures, some of them are not UV mapped and all sort of other problems.....I would still encourage you guys to go ahead and try yourself and see if any off you can get them to work as I havent tested all of them...

i got that rural castle working without any problems, didn't look that good, but was okay. i'll post it as tgo later, when i get it compressed enough

Lord Richard's Castle is pretty slick, works fine. I was able to get most these to work - some took some tweaking of the textures, but most were workable. I have modified obj's for these - rotated and offset to y =0, with most of thextures corrected. If there's one you want and you can't get it working, let me know.
