Hi All,
Thought I'd have a go at an animation (
http://vimeo.com/31723180). Assuming I am using it correctly my observations are:
- It's very hard to work out how many frames one should specify between nodes when creating nodes (hence the jerky nature of the animation) - -I am sure using trig it is possible to work out exactly how far the camrea has travelled then work out how many frames are required based on 24 fps, but this seems a long winded approach.
- It's tricky to delete nodes within the animation unless you remember which frame contains a node, and if you forget to click on set animation for the caera or forget to change frames, some very strange effects happen!
- This was a very simple animation - 600 frames which took about 10 hours to render.
- Default motion blur is too high, and should really vary with the speed the camera is travelling at - slower speeds should have a much smaller blur setting
- Can we expect some enhancements soon (Oshyan etc!)?
- Am working on another....and hope it will be a little more polished than this one.
