Hi all
Mainly an experiment in rock displacements but when I added the clouds(modified from NWDA cumulus pack) I thought I better try and finish it. Plants NWDA, Walli and Xfrog.
The rocks are stretched, rotated and redirected powerfractals

The foreground is wonderful looking. I like the mountain shapes, but the layering seems very extreme. The lighting in the clouds looks good. I think you stretched the clouds someway? They may look better without the strong horizontal elements seen on the central cloud.
This is a very good scene. The slopes come on too strongly on the hills. Maybe a smaller scale for these displacements would work better. Keep going with it!

Yes as Henry said the scene has potential but there are some little extreme settings.
The mountain on the left looks a little surreal because of this to me .
But there is a very nice image very near with some little adjustments , Mick

Hi
The strong horizontal elements are basically god rays. Agree the displacements are extreme may change them. Playing with POV at the moment as I don't like the placement of the trees.
Need to add a few fke stones and some waters edge veg.

Next stage - lost the perfect(ish) rocks when TG crashed! unfortunately I hadn't saved and can't remember what I did. Changed POV added vegetation. Will add some wildlife but not happy with composition.

The rock slopes look much better; a nice painted effect. Good work. I am sorry to hear you lost your tweaking.

The scene seems much improved in the second render...and it's odd that sometimes losing a render in a crash leads one to produce something better the second time round!
Every problem is an opportunity, but there are so many opportunities it is a problem!
