It needs something, but preferably not me  I'd say, some ground displacement and the grasses more patched. Maybe some bushes between the houses or behind. The POV is not really my taste, but ok.

the lighting seems ok imo, so does the clouds, atmosphere
yeah the ground seems to flat
Ulco has some good suggestions for the populations.

Wow, that actually looks really nice already. Love the lighting and the sky. Very dramatic.

The sides of the buildings and the desert behind the buildings need some scrub plants. The space between the buildings would have the tallest weeds/scrubs near the buildings edges, leaving footpaths between them.
