A depiction of somewhere in the western part of the Midwest where a few Linden trees grow. Thanks to Mark for the 'Lime Tree' (as it is known in Europe;  and,  which is called the Linden or Basswood here in the states).  All other vegetation models are by Walli.

Enjoy.

A suggested change by friends at another site...

Dune

No, first one!! Extremely nice, Bob. I like it very much. Great sky, very good lighting, nice and realistic terrain and colors. Copied it to my folder of favorites.

Walli

I like the first one better. I like that scene. Perhaps it would be good to balance the shadow darkness a bit. Tree shadow is almost black, in the back it seems to be less contrasty.

Thank you both; yes, the the tree shadow is bothersome. Tried the brightness/contrast in TG2 to remedy that but it didn't deliver the expected results.

I like #1 better as well. Very nice scene, one of your best, IMHO.

I also like the first one better.  Excuse the ignorance as I'm very low on the learning curve, but would increasing the amount of ambient light (adjusting the ambient intensity slider towards lighter grey) help make the shadow less intense?

Thanks for the visit. Not sure; but, I suspect the difference in contrast would be the same.
