Left out the twist and shear?  Easily forgiven - it never was a favorite of mine.  Otherwise, this has a good rocky look to it.  Maybe a little more color variance wouldn't hurt.

I actually tried to check out that banana crumble clip file, but being such a noob, couldn't get it to work.

I take it that the clip file contains both shading and displacement data?

I tried making a few connections in the node editor but nothing worked. 

If someone gets the chance, can you post a screenshot of how to connect it up right?
