Hello,
thought i might post something as well,although it´s still about getting practice,
but who cares... ;).
Here we go:2 versions of a displacement and surface test.

Wow!  That's an awesome image!  It's one of the most detailed and realistic I've seen in a pretty long time.  Could you possibly share the .tgd?

absolutely superb rock facing!

That's one of the hardest things to detail realistically IMO.

but you can download it easily from http://www.joshushund.com/frames.html,
if you want, or you can use any other steep terrain of course.
