Nebulous Night

First image I've had time to make for what feels like a couple months.  Been meaning to try and make a cool sky out of one of the nebula pics I had lying around.

For my two cents, I think I'd remove the moons.  You want to bring the viewers gaze into the nebula, but the moons keep pulling attention to themselves.  I do like the nebulae itself behind the forest sillouhette.

Also i would increase the gamma for the space background, make shore the whites are truly bright and white and increase the local ambiance because those heap of stellar objects are going to light that planet quite well. The globular cluster and closer starts in particular.

Agree about the moons, although they do look very nice.

I would pull the camera back a ways (if possible) so that there is more water area. And then smooth the water and make the nebula reflect in the water. Im curious if between the real nebula and the reflection, you could light your scene?

I agree with all. Perhaps if you smooth the water you can use more defined patchiness and perhaps some very warped waves, like strange disturbance in the water due to stellar influences.
