C&C please............

Great sky, color and composition. Like this one, yossam. Very clean and clear.
*Island looks the same on both sides though
It has been eaten.

The island is not the same, the ship is blocking an inlet. I didn't think about that when I rendered.

Dune

C&C: I think the ship needs DIRT! Throw some PF's over the parts, either into the color input of the defaults, or as a 0.5 coverage surface shader under it, blended by a PF. Especially the wood should be stained, greyed and dark.
The waves I would make a little rougher, and perhaps use more patchiness. And how did you get the foam behind the ship? If by projected image map shader from a camera at the ship's location, the white is cast very straight and doesn't really follow the waves. If so, you might be better of using a painted shader (Y projection) or a soft triangle (SimpleSS) for the whole wake, and  then a ridged and warped PF, rotated into the right direction by a transform shader.
I  very much like the cloud, by the way.

Ran the ship thru the dirt pile..............per Dunes' post. Still not happy with the wake, although it is following the waves better.

Did you use small numbers in the dirt PF sizes? I don't think so... try it; 0.2/2/0.001 or so. How did you do the wake?

Nice model and render, but the ship could be improved. The sails could be dirtied up in spots, and I'd decrease the displacement factor on the hull, right not it gives me the impression of a small scale model. Isn't the aft sail (don't know its actual name) catching wind from the opposite direction from the ship's lean? Why is the island so grainy? If it's fog, it goes not really correspond to the bright blue sky. This definitely has potential.

I think this is finished..........thanks to Dune for the help.

Great job ,I like the composition!
