Good to be back..........I've been sick and my computer has been ill too.
Not happy with this..........any suggestions?

I got rid of the "wet" part, it looked more like an oil spill than water.

glad you and your computer are feeling better.
One of the things that immedialty struck me was the boulders in the bottom center seem far to big for the surrounding trees. ALso seemed to be a lack of terrain detail. Maybe play with the sunlight direction to see if shadows would enhance that??

Nice start!
I think you should resize the trees quite a lot. Maybe 10-20 % of their size now. Do you have any other vegetation to use there?
Is this real terrain data?
