Flying like Superman over Adelaide, South Australia
« on: December 11, 2012, 01:50:43 AM »
This is short video has been rendered with TG. The 3D city has been generated using aero3Dpro 3D models directly imported into TG. I've also used some digital surface models generated from aerial imagery as well as a aerial mosaic for the area outside the CBD.

You guys are doing some really interesting and unique stuff with Terragen! Great to see it. There's a bit of undersampling (noise) in the motion blur in some shots, but otherwise looks pretty good quality-wise.

Thanks a lot.

I agree I could improve the motion blur a bit. Will do for the next one.

Teach me.

It is not technically difficult. It is just a basic fly-through over a 3D model (instead of using a single highfield I use multiple highfield layers (and image map shaders) and a large imported 3D model on top of them).

And...how long did it take to render this?   :o
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?
